

Her family moved to Glendive, Montana when she was two months old, and then moved to North Dakota where she lived until she was five. She attended elementary school in Minneapolis, Minnesota and Fresno, California before finishing the eighth grade in Staunton, Virginia.
She attended high school at Portland Adventist Academy, graduating in 1972 . After school classes she worked in admitting at the Portland Adventist Hospital, taking patients to their various appointments.
Vicki attended college at LaSierra University in California, and was able to spend some weekends with her grandparents and Aunt Evelyn and her family.
On September 11, 1983 Vicki married the love of her life, when she joined with Eric John Stollberg at a wedding ceremony held in Portland’s Rose Garden. To this union were born Tyler John and Reid William.
Becoming a computer expert, Vicki contracted to several companies to do their computer programming before joining Pacific NW Development where she became CFO. Her last employment was with Radius Management in Vancouver, WA.
A lover of animals, Vicki was for many years a volunteer organizer for Zoolala at the Portland Zoo.
Catalina Island’s Avalon was her favorite vacation spot. The family flew there yearly and stayed in Eric’s sister Lynnette’s boat for their special vacation experience.
She was diagnosed with ALS on June 9, 2014.
She leaves her husband, Eric, sons Tyler (Lindsey) and Reid, (Sara) of Portland; her parents, Jerry and Beverly Brass, Ryderwood, WA; sister Donna Hesgard (Randy), Battle Ground, WA; mother-in-law Ginger Hess, Tuscon, AZ; sister in law Lynette O’Bryan (Tim), Seal Beach, CA, and many other relatives and friends.
Vicki’s “Farewell Party” will be held on Sunday, Sept. 27, 2015 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at
Rock Creek Country Club
