UN MESSAGE DE LA FAMILLE
It is with rejoicing sorrow that I write this. Sorrow because you are gone, rejoicing because you have moved to your heavenly home. My mom, Zella Mae Stuart, has completed her 98-year earthly journey. She passed away on Friday, August 12, 2022. She has now reunited with my dad, my brother, her mom, dad and siblings, friends and family from Oklahoma, Kennewick WA, Springfield OR, Portland OR, and Vancouver, WA, as well as many others. I can only imagine the beautiful reunification celebrations they are having with Jesus at the center. The wonderful old hymns we listened to together during your last hours comfort me still. It seemed you even smiled when “It is Well with my Soul” played. Still your favorite!! I will miss you, but you will live forever in my heart and memories. Thankfully death is not the end for children of God like you. You were a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, favorite aunt, friend, mentor, advisor, confidante, teacher, colleague, and Godly woman to many on this 98 year journey. Those qualities have left a legacy that has multiplied exponentially. Of course, I am your daughter, so I may be biased!! But I dare say, I could find countless who would agree. She loved and received love from her caregivers, Minnie and Donna, for the past 12 years. There are no words of thanks that would convey our love and appreciation for them. I love you, Mom. Thank you for everything!! I will see you again in Glory!!
