Diane M. Spencer

Mrs. Diane M. Spencer, age 75 of Varysburg, NY passed away on November 24, 2025 at the Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo, New York. Arrangements for Diane are with the Garner Funeral Service. Friends may call at the Garner Funeral Service on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 from 12pm-2pm and 4pm-6pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday at St. Mary's Church at 10:30 am followed by a burial at St. Mary's Cemetery.

Diane is survived by her husband of 57 years, William C. Spencer, Jr., Daughters Kim (Neil) LaCombe, Kris (Bryan) Weiss, son William C Spencer, II, sisters Karen (Frank) Keleher, Tracy (Mike) Hart, Brenda (Joe) Bennett and Becky (Dave) Harris.

Diane Marie Spencer was born February 4, 1950 in Potsdam, NY to the late Orval and Dorothy (Cryus) Wells. She graduated from Potsdam High School in 1968. On September 21, 1968 she was married to William C. Spencer, Jr. at St. Mary's Church in Potsdam, NY.

Diane was a bus driver for the Wyoming County Transit System for several years and she also worked for The Cloisters, an assisted living facility in Warsaw, NY.

Diane enjoyed painting and doing pottery. She is remembered as a loving giving person especially to her children, grand-children and great grand-children. Her presence will be missed each day, and her big heart and love for all will be fondly remembered.

Diane has a loving and thankful memory and great appreciation for Make-a-Wish and Ronald McDonald House so, in lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Diane's name to either of those organizations.
