Mrs. Michele A. DeCarr

Michele passed away unexpectedly Monday January 7th, at her home. Arrangements have been made with Garner Funeral Home, Potsdam NY. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday January 15th, from 4pm -7pm. A reception and Celebration of Life will be held Sunday January 13th at the Parishville Fireman's Hall at 1:00 pm.

She was a 1978 graduate of Parishville-Hopkinton Central School. She married Bob DeCarr, Jr on October 13, 1984, in Parishville Ny by Jerry Kelly, JP. She worked many years for NYSARC, and then the Cedar Lodge in later years. She is survived by her husband, Bob, and children Sami, Kadi, and Logan DeCarr, stepdaughter Amy Dissottle, grandchildren, Kendall and Konnor Dissottle, Caleb & Gavin Wagstaff, and Hayes DeCarr. She is also survived by her sister, Joanne & Gary Crawford, R.I., her brother Marty & Karen LaShombe, N.H. Her nieces & nephews Chad Dennis, Jay & Chapin LaShombe, Shawna Dunbar, Regan Dunbar, Heather LaShombe.

Shelly loved nature, her home, her family and creating crafts for them all. She was an avid knitter, gardener, and homemaker. She most enjoyed the time she spent, raising her children and grandchildren with her husband, in her favorite place, Joe Indian Pond. Her smile and gentle nature drew people in, and her sense of humor and laugh captured them forever. She will be greatly missed by friends and family.
