

Jane was born in Wayland, NY on August 20th, 1959, the daughter of Edward and Betty (Wilson) Wray. Jane enjoyed working for many area retail stores including Kmart, Rite Aid, and Family Dollar. She was an active member of the Historical Society and was also involved with Girl Scouts for many years and Boy Scouts. She was an avid reader and NASCAR fan and enjoyed knitting and going to her church, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was known and loved by so many people.
Jane is survived by her closest and dearest friend of 21 years, Brenda Youngs; her siblings; Charles E. Wray, Thelma (Charlie) Rose and their children, Amanda (Matt) Prigge and Jeremy; Helen (Wayne) Blake and their children, Ben, Emily (Zach) and Shelby Blake; and Richard (Jacqueline) Wray and their children, Edward, Joseph, Daniel, Kasey and Ashley; special friend Becky Gray; grandaughter Sherry Cooley (Craig Gerber) and their children, Kolin and Madison Gerber; step children, Jennifer (Anthony Waye) Hapeman and their children, Nariah and Logan Waye; Kayla Youngs, and Stephanie (Steven Buchanan) Youngs and their children, Kendrah, Kayleigh, and Brady Buchanan; step brothers, Kyle (Charlene) Hapeman and their daughter Desiree, and Barry Hapeman, and his children, Scott, Alison, Danielle, Laura, Maggie, Julie, and Rebecca: several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and grandparents, Jane was predeceased by her husband, Donald Zurlick and step brother Brian (and wife Jeanne) Hapeman, survived by their children Hannah and Bethany Hapeman.
Friends and family may call on July 13, 2014 from 1-3pm and 5-7pm at the Prattsburgh United Methodist Church, Porter St., Prattsburgh, where a memorial service celebrating her life will follow at 7pm. There will be a private graveside service at convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jane’s memory to the American Lung Association or to the Prattsburgh United Methodist Church.
