Sandra K. Shamma

Sandra MacDougal Shamma, age 69, of Chicago; beloved mother of Reem (Matt) Jahnke; loving nana of Heather (Chris) and Morgan; dear sister of Stanley "Tex" (Sandy) MacDougal and Sherie Giles; aunt of Laurie MacDougal and Lisa (Dan) Zimbelman. She was born on February 6, 1943 in Bath, New York, the daughter of the late Stanley and Joyce (Allyn) MacDougal, Sr. Sandra was a dedicated educator of Chicago Public Schools for 35 years. She was an avid basketball fan, and would never miss a Bulls or Celtics game.

Friends and family may call from 11 am to noon on Saturday, September 29th, at the Bottoni-Wood Funeral Home, 4 Mechanic St., Prattsburgh, NY. Her funeral service will immediately follow at the funeral home at noon with the Rev. Don Peek officiating. Interment will follow at Rural Cemetery in Prattsburgh.
