PEEK, Betty Joan, 69, a resident of Prattville, AL passed away Friday, May 6, 2011. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 9, 2011 at 2:00 PM from Ridout’s Prattville Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, May 8, 2011 from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM. Mrs. Peek is preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Roberta Coggins and a brother, James E. Coggins. Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Fred Peek; son and daughter-in-law, Fred and Karen Peek, Jr.; three grandsons, Deven Peek and wife Kristen, Jonny Fank and wife Hillary and Trey Stephens; one great-grandchild, Shayden Fank and a host of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Peek was retired secretary from the ADECA department with the State of Alabama.
