Brenda Walker Tatum

Funeral services will be held Friday May 16th at 2:00 PM at Ridout’s Prattville Chapel with burial following in Oak Hill Cemetery.

She is preceded in death by her parents James and Mary Ella Walker, Vivian Herndon, grandparents Ludie and Tommie Lee, mother-in-law, Katie Evers Tatum, brothers, Jimmy , William, Bobby, James, Wayne, Willie Paul, sister-in-law, Teresa Walker, nephews, Kirk Collier and William Hayes.

Brenda is survived by her loving husband, Albert; two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Jennifer Tatum, Joseph and Michelle Tatum; grandchildren Bubba, Katie, Jackson Paul, Alyssa, Kylie and Caiden; a sister a brother-in-law, Evelyn and Ben Bowles; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Frank and Lisa Walker, Gary and Connie Walker, Phillip and Lilly Walker and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family would like to extend a special word of thanks to: Baptist Hospice, Dr. Andrew Wynn and staff, Baptist (South) Medical Center 5th floor, Prattville Fire Department, Hayne and Care Ambulance for kindness and love shown to Brenda during her illness.

Visitation will be held Thursday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
