PENDLEY, Carol Milton, age 82, passed away Saturday, December 29, 2012. He was born September 18, 1930 in Old Hickory, TN. He has been a resident of Prattville, AL since 1965. Funeral services will be Monday, December 31, 2012 at 11:00 AM from the Prattville Church of Christ with Minister Brent Missildine and Minister Raymond Elliott officiating. Burial will follow in Prattville Memory Gardens. Mr. Pendley was a devoted father and grandfather and will be greatly missed by his family. He served in the USAF for four years and an employee of Alabama Power Company for 37 years. He also served as an elder of the Prattville Church of Christ for several years. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Ann Pendley; two children, Raymond A. “Al” Pendley and Carol (Mark) Gray; one sister, Mary Ruth Walton of Manassas, VA. He is preceded in death by his father and mother, one grandchild, Cory Pendley and one great-grandchild, Helen Gray. He leaves behind six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the church Monday from 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM.
