Charles Greene Worthy, 90, of Prattville, Alabama, passed away March 18, 2024. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Kenington Worthy; parents, William and Louise Worthy and brother, Walter Worthy. He is survived by his two daughters, Wendy O’Brian (Jim) and Kelly Jackson (Benjie); grandchildren Jordan O’Brian (Lauren), Conner O’Brian, Carter Jackson and Kaydey Jackson.
Mr. Worthy served honorably in the US Air Force. He had a strong faith in the Lord, loved his family, gardening and was known to be very frugal and wise. He was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.
A visitation for Mr. Worthy will be Friday, March 22, 2024 at Ridouts Prattville Chapel from 5-7:00 PM with a graveside service to be held Sunday, March 24, 2024 at Oakhill Cemetery in Prattville at 2:00 PM.
The family would like to extend a very special acknowledgment to Ms. “V” Edwards and Ms. Angie Lewis. They are thankful for the love, care and devotion to Mr. Worthy.
