Darlene Isabella Johnson, age 77, of Prattville, Alabama formerly of Estero, Florida passed away on Monday, October 23, 2023. She was preceded in death by her mother, Evelyn Frances Horne and her father, Albert George Horne. She is survived by her husband, Herbert C. Johnson; children;
Herbert (George) Johnson; and Angela D. Wilson ( Blake) ; grandchildren; Alexis O'Conner; Chrisandra O'Connor; Ashley O'Connor; Danielle O'Connor; and Grayson Wilson; great grandchildren; Treston Jacob;

Darlene was a native Floridian, residing in Estero, Florida. She was a granddaughter of Florida pioneers, a member of River of Life Assembly of God and she was a member of the Estero Historical Society.
She loved cooking. She worked in daycare and always loved looking after her babies. She spent her final days in her new home in Prattville, AL.
A Celebration of Life service for Darlene will be Saturday, December 9, 2023 at 3:00 PM with the visitation and reception to follow service.
Donations can be made in Amedisys Hospice in her name.
