BUTTON, David “Dave” Orlando, 81 of Prattville, passed away Sunday May 8, 2016. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday May 12th at the Joseph’s Catholic Church in Prattville. Burial will follow later in the St. John’s Cemetery, Middle Village, New York.
Mr. Button was born on December 8, 1934 in Brooklyn, New York to the late James Button and Mae DeNardo Button. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War Era. He was known to be a hard worker and was retired with over thirty years of service to the heavy container manufacturing industry. Other than his parents he was preceded in death by his son Patrick McKay and a sister in law, Evelyn Button.
He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Margaretha Button; son John McKay, son Edward McKay and his wife Patricia, daughter Christina Ruby Littleton and her husband Bill, son David Button and his wife Cheryl, daughter Maria Button and her fiancé’ Charles; two brothers, Donald Button and his wife Dorothy, Joseph Button and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM (with Rosary service at 7:00 PM) to 8:00 PM at Ridout’s Prattville Chapel.
