Earl Ray Taylor

Ret. MSgt Earl R. Taylor of Prattville, AL, went home to be with the Lord, Friday, May 2, 2025, at Charlton Place Nursing Home and Rehab. Earl was born to the late Edwin and Bertha Taylor on January 6, 1943, in Fry, GA. After graduating in 1961 from West Fannin High School, Earl is a Vietnam Veteran serving 26 years in the USAF. After retiring from the Air Force, he worked 10 years with Kraft Foods and retired in 2005.

Survived by his beloved wife of 56 plus years, Brenda Anne Bracknell Taylor; three children, Laticia (Robin) Faircloth, Eric Taylor, and Wendy (Chris) Engberg; three grandchildren, Chris (Dani) Rumpke, Tyler (Madison) Rumpke, and Taylor Engberg; two great grandchildren Emma and Rory Rumpke; sister and brother, Linda (Tommy) Taylor and BJ (Cindy) Taylor.

A visitation for Earl will be held Thursday, May 8, 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Camellia Baptist Church, 201 Woodvale Road, Prattville, AL 36067. A funeral service will occur Thursday, May 8, 2025 at 10:30 AM, 201 Woodvale Road, Prattville, AL 36067. A burial will occur Thursday, May 8, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Alabama National Cemetery, 3133 Hwy 119, Montevallo, AL 35115.
