Eugene Ratliff

He is preceded in death by his father, Bill Ratliff; mother, Evelyn Portwood; step-father, William Portwood, brothers;Tommy, Jesse, Dewain, Johnny, Michael; twin baby sister, Evelyn Traci and his father and mother-in-Law, Joseph and Betty Bejeaux.He is also survived by his beloved fur babies, Maggie and Somer

He is survived by his wife, Suzanne B. Ratliff; children, Kyle Ozier (Casey) and Victoria Ozier (Bailey Adams); brother Delbert Ratliff; grandson, Bennett Ozier; brothers and sisters-in-laws, Paul and Nicki BeJeaux, Matt and Amanda Milton; nieces and nephews, Daniel Ratliff, Brandon Ratliff, Nick and Maria BeJeaux, Josh and Jade BeJeaux, Matthew Milton, Madison Milton, DeAnne Brunson, Amber Fink; great nieces and nephews, Brody Ratliff, Xavi BeJeaux, Wes Mitchell, Luca BeJeaux, Addison Ratliff, Danielle Bryant, Allison Brunson; and close friends, Chris and May Whatley, Teddy and Brenda Liner.

Eugene served everyone he encountered. His passions were beekeeping, infusing honey, gardening, watching Alabama football, cooking and grilling, helping students at school, serving the prison ministry, spending time with friends and family, and most importantly going to church.

A visitation will be held at St Joseph Catholic Church, located at 511 N Memorial Dr., Prattville, Al 36067, on Friday, September 26, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm followed by a funeral Mass at 6:00 PM

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any donations be made to Saint Joseph Catholic Church Prison Ministry.
