

Jimmy Wayne Ingram, 67, of Millbrook, Alabama passed away Saturday August 6, 2016. A Celebration of Life was held at 2:00 PM Prattville First Baptist Church followed by a Celebration of Life at 2:00 PM with Dr. Travis Coleman and Pastor Dave Burns officiating. Burial will follow in Prattville Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Ingram was born March 18, 1949 in Marion, Alabama to the late Albert Benjamin Ingram and Florine Ashe Ingram. He was a 1967 graduate of Orrville High School and attended the University of Montevallo. He was retired from Alabama Power Company with nearly 25 years of service. He enjoyed taking part in many church and outdoor activities including camping, fishing and bike riding. Mr. Ingram was known to be a man of deep faith; he was devoted to family, grandchildren, church and to his many friends. He was a loving husband, a great and wonderful father and grandfather who was willing to help anyone in need.
Other than his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Lena Johnson. He is survived by his loving wife, Beverly Ingram of Millbrook; a daughter, Amanda Ingram Piper and her husband Brian of Millbrook; a son Christopher Wayne Ingram and his wife Kate of Prattville; four grandchildren, Braxton S. Piper, William Mason Piper, Cullen T. Piper, Avery Grace Ingram; two brothers and a sister in law, Ferma C. and Joan Ingram of Sharpsburg, GA. and Robert A. Ingram of Selma; two sisters and a brother in law, Fay Thompson of Selma, Blanche and Charlton Roberts of Atlanta. In lieu of flowers memorial contribution may be made to the First Baptist Church 138 South Washington St. Prattville, Alabama 36067 or to the First United Methodist Church of Montgomery Respite Ministry 2416 West Cloverdale Park, Montgomery, Alabama 36106.
