John Wayne Parker

He is preceded in death by Parents, Shelly and Hazel Parker and Brother, William Eugene "Billy" Parker.

John is survived by: Wife, Bonnie Brantley Parker; Sons, Michael Parker (Marie), John Parker (Wendy), William Parker; Daughter, Lisa Crowell (Shon); Grandchildren, Naomi Parker, Shelby Worthington (Johnny), John Daniel Parker, Rachel Perry (TaDarious), Dylan Parker, Dalton Parker (Selena), Jonathan Parker (Michela), Mamie Parker, Brittany Miller (Burt), Jerodis Williams (Emily), Hillary Crowell, Zachariah Kirkham (Erika), Hope Kirkham and 20 Great Grandchildren.

He was a staff sergeant in the Army National Guard where he served in the Korean War and Desert Shield.

John was in service to the people he loved. He loved his family dearly and always wanted the best for them and was always there when they needed him.

A Memorial Service service will be held on Friday, June 20, 2025 at Hunting Ridge Church of God, 305 Selma Hwy. Prattville, Al. 36067 beginning at 4 PM.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2025 in New Chapel Cemetery, 2965 New Chapel Rd., Nettleton, MS 38858 at 2 PM. There will be food and fellowship to follow.
