John L. Walker

John Law Walker, 81, of Deatsville, Alabama and formally of Pell City, Alabama, passed away August 24, 2025. He was preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth Walker; parents Leilus and Ruby Walker; siblings, WL Walker, Ed Walker, Jack Walker, Billie Walker Sr., Joyce Walker Harrison, Buddy Walker, Preston Walker, Claude Walker, Mark Walker and Lena Mae Lott; son in law Dennis Kilborn. He is survived by his daughters, Tracy Gamel and Lisa Kilborn; step sons.Mike Gamel and Jeff Gamel; grandchildren, Jonathan Gamel (Leah), Danielle Hodge, David Hodge, Dustin Hodge; great grandchildren Sydnie Gamel, Baylie Gamel, Karsyn Gamel, Liv Gamel, Elijah Brown, Aliyah Brown. He is also survived by his siblings Paul Walker and Rosa Tollison.

Mr. Walker was a local car dealer for man years. He loved Alabama football. He was deeply loved by his family and will be dearly missed.

Services for Mr. Walker will be Thursday, August 28, 2025, at Ridouts Prattville Chapel at 11:00 AM with the visitation one hour prior. Burial will follow at Brookside Cemetery, Millbrook, Alabama. Serving as pallbearers will be Jonathan Gamel, Mike Gamel, Clint Walker, Tucker Cousins, Mark Golden and David Hodge. Honorary pallbearers will be Paul Walker and Cary Sears.
