I just received word of John’s passing today. He had been a good friend since we first met in Alabama during the mid-1990’s. John and I served together as Reserve Deputies with Lowndes County Sheriff’s Dept. He was always a prankster, and quick with his wit. We stayed in touch with each other through the years, still laughing about the days of old.  Rest in Peace, Johnny G. I have no doubt the heavens are a much different place with your energy. #slowsalute

I met Johnny (John) back in the late 80s and we became good friends. We didnt hang out much due to work schedules and such but we always found time to connect and share life's experiences. I personally think it was too soon for you to leave us but God apparently has other plans for you. Your presence will be missed by many.  Rest in Peace my friend until we meet again....

John and I quickly became friends working for Entec stations years ago. He was always in and out of the office. We shared so many inside jokes and laughs over the years. Too many to count. He was a good friend to me and I will miss his funny stories, his wit and laughter. Long live the plain Krystal burgers with cheese in a separate box🤣🤣 hope to see you again someday John. Until then keep our mutual friends in check in heaven ❤️

For those who question where his family or sister is…..I was always there. The late night calls, the texts, the quick visits. This day in picture , 7hrs. I was there when he allowed me. He always  said I was too smart. We couldn’t mix worlds because I always knew the real John. A lot of you know what I mean.  I love seeing all of the pictures and love for him. He had the biggest heart. He had his faults, as do I, but I will say he did his best to make things right before he passed.  He always wanted to appear larger than life. I hope you rest in peace now, John…..no funny business. Like we say, love you bitch, bye! 😔 🥰 🙏🏼

When I first saw John sick. I was in shock and thank God for Jamarra being with him and taking care of him on this journey. I would be lost without her!

I tried my best to change his ways…..never happened. He loved my holistic, healthy lifestyle but said it could never happened for him. He tormented me with texts like this 😂

hi dad. it’s me ur daughter. i just want to have a last talk with u before i let u go. sinds the day that i was born u were there for me. always even if u had rough times. u are a person that is loved by everyone. u love everyone for how they are. u see the good in people. u see the good in me. Dad u are the most special and strong person i know. u fight. u stayed strong for so long. and im so proud of u for doing that!! u were always there for me and i know u will be there for me even if ur not on this planet. i loved our talks even if i dont want it to stop. i loved our video calls. were u would be saying that my friends were ur friends. or the photos were u would always try to make me jealous when u were eating fast food that we don’t have in belgium. i had a blessed talking with u in that way. i loved our trip to paris with jamarra and my mom. or our trip to florida or when u visited us in belgium. every time i saw u dad was the best time of my life. ur dream was for me to meet all of ur friends and to go to college in America well i really want to fulfill your wish. all of my friends know u. on school days i couldn’t stop talking about u to say that “yeah hes my dad and he’s the best dad in the world” i talked about u so often that my friends started asking how u were doing. dad i just want u to know that i love u dearly and that if my love fot u came true the world would’ve exploded by know.

Whew… My Son In Law John: Jamarra often said you and I thought a lot alike. I have never met anyone like you but glad you came into my daughter’s and grandchildren’s lives. You were such a blessing, your heart and love for them was beautiful as my daughter loves you. You my friend will be missed but you know I will stand with Jam always. She was honored to be your wife. Rest well my friend. And knowing that you gave your life to the Lord Jesus the Christ gives me great peace. Love you John

On 9/11, 2001 John & I were supposed to meet that morning to drive up to Ft. Payne on a business deal we were working on. He arrived shortly after the second tower had been struck and we headed north. Both of us hardly said a word to each other on the trip, we just glanced back & forth, our anger visible on both our faces. We just didn’t have any words for it all. John knew what it meant to be a friend. When you needed his help the most, he’d just show up without asking first. He loved his country, he loved his family, and he loved his friends. I was blessed to be one of them.

John was like my uncle! I’ve known him since I was a kid and he even played Santa for me when I was about 10 years old. I spent countless hours talking to him on the phone and many many nights together while at work. John was always someone I could call no matter what time whether just to talk or to get advice he was there! I have countless memories with John and I could go on and on. John was my brother, my friend, and my uncle. We laughed and cried together more than a few times. When I got hurt and went o the hospital John dat with me the whole time. Like I said I could write a book about John. Sure gonna miss you man!! Still not real that I can’t call you. Rest easy man. I know you’re up there shooting all your guns and laughing with some old friends… fly high my boy!!

John was truly unique and special in so many ways. Living by his own code and always doing anything within his means to bring happiness and laughter to those around him, John continued to make a positive and lasting impact on so many lives. He was free spirited and wild at heart, always seeking adventure. He embraced the brotherhood of Law Enforcement and supported the community and it's families with everything he had. He was down to kick in a door or chase down a suspect to help his brothers and sisters in blue any time we would allow him, and even when we begged him not to...haha. He found joy in cooking for every cop on the shift and even made it a routine to take food and treats to the dispatchers, magistrates and anyone else that shared the same passion for pursuing the criminal element and protecting the streets. John brought the same happiness and laughter to the homeless community that frequented his areas of business. Sure, he had to give them a hard time first for loitering and begging on the property, but after business was done, he would always provide them with food, beverages and whatever other essentials they needed.....as long as they stayed across the street. John was REAL. There was no facade put up to hide behind with him. Right, wrong or just plain misunderstood at times, you knew what you had with John and that warrants respect. I could go on for days with stories and other ways to lift this man up, but this page limits me...haha. just know that John White was my Brother and I will forever remember him and hold a special place in my heart, just for him. Rest Easy Brother.

You were something else John, I have never met someone like you before and I guess I never will again. You could be so incredibly charming, confident and generous, open up to everybody quickly and entertain the masses.
What I'm gonna miss about you the most  though is your laughter and especially those times, when you were able to show your soft and sensitive side, then you were so genuine and lovable. 
I hope you'll find the peace now, that you were not able to find here on earth and that you've been freed from all the pain you've been carrying. Rest in peace John!

John White A Nice guy and honest and humor who I will miss. He was a good guy he will be truly missed . Rest on John .

John was one of the most unique individuals that I ever knew. You always knew where you stood with him. He was genuinely honest and spoke what he believed. He would give from the heart and neve asked anything in return. His wit and humor will be missed. I am sure he is riding the range and looking for outlaws . See you at the stockyards in Fort Worth. You are free my friend!
