Leon Carroll, 90, of Prattville, Alabama, passed away August 26, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Hadden Carroll and Georgia Lavada Brock; son Roger D. Carroll (Deborah), and granddaughter Jennifer M. Carroll. He is survived by his wife, Juanita Johnson Carroll of 69 wonderful years; daughter Angela Carroll Shearin (Sam); grandsons Matthew Carroll, Brandon Shearin, Jonathan Carroll (Kristen), and Kevin Shearin, and four great granddaughters Jazmine, Sklyer, Emma, and Lucy Carroll.
Leon was born in Franklin County, Georgia. He proudly served a 20-year career in the United States Air Force. After the military he spent the remainder of his life as a longtime resident of Prattville, Alabama. In addition to retiring from the military, he also retired from K-Mart/Sears.
He was laid to rest in a private burial at the Alabama National Cemetery, Montevallo, Alabama.
