Laura was my mentor at the Montgomery Zoo where I first started my zoo career. She let me rent a room from her for a little while and boy, did we have fun! She has always been so special to me. I lost track of her several years ago and I tried to find her when I was in the area last time but to no avail. She was one of the kindest -hearted people I have ever met. She was such a wonderful lady in so many ways and just a riot to be around. Her smile could light up the whole room and she was quite a Spitfire! I live in Orlando, Florida now but if there were some services for her, I would try my best to get there.
