He was preceded in death his daughter, Brenda Young Fink; he is survived by his loving wife, Katie Ragsdale; four children, William Young, John Young, Tim Ragsdale and Rita Ragsdale; one sister, Vonnie Hayes; ten grandchildren; eight great grandchildren;

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Ridout’s Prattville Chapel at 12:00 noon on Thursday, December 5, 2013 with Rev. J.B. Burt officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
