Mrs. Mary Odessa Chambers, age 91 of Prattville, passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husbands, John Campbell, Sr., and Oscar T. Chambers; two brothers and one sister. Mrs. Chambers is survived by her children, Carole Singleton of Wetumpka, Janice Pagel (Phillip, Sr.) of Texas, and Lorri Cottle (Ricky) of Prattville; grandchildren, Karen Bush (Lynn), Robin Singleton (Shirley), Kim Day (Sam), Scott Singleton, Thomas Kincaid, Jr., Terri Denton, Phillip Pagel, Jr. (Elizabeth), Ethan Byrd and Zachary Cottle; nine great-grandchildren; and eight great-great grandchildren.
Mrs. Chambers was a long time resident of Prattville. She enjoyed working in the yard and in her garden, and most of all, spending time with her family.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at Ridout’s Prattville Chapel. Burial will follow at Prattville Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday evening at Ridout’s Prattville Chapel. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
