Mary Anne Manning

Mary Anne was born on January, 5th 1948 to Allie and Mable Trice. Mary Anne graduated from Autauga County High School in 1966 and completed her studies at Troy University.

Mary Anne’s professional career consisted of Decades working for the State of Alabama in various roles and Divisions. Afterwards Mary Anne Turned one of her hobbies into a fulfilling career as owner operator of 5m’s Nursery, Greenhouse and Landscaping.

In 1970 Mary Anne married Billy Gene Manning. Mary Anne and B.G. went on to have three sons Terry, Chad and Pat Manning, daughter In-law Patricia Manning; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Throughout Mary Anne’s young and adult life, she enjoyed many hobbies. A few are drawing, painting, raising farm and domestic animals, raising shrubbery and flowers, and keeping her home, property and second home on the Alabama River up and beautiful.

Mary Anne was predeceased by her mother and father Allie and Mable Trice nephew Torrie Kervin and brother in-law Benton Kervin. Mary Anne is survived by her husband Billy Gene Manning; sons, Terry, Pat, Chad (Patricia); grandchildren, Corey and Ashton, Austin, Hunter and Brandy, Brandon, Nick, Jordon and Cierra; great grandchildren, Casen, Cooper, Heartlan, Kelton and John Everret; sister Jackie, Brother Al; nephew, Boady and niece Markeeta.

A visitation for Mary Anne will be Thursday, December 21, 2023 from 12:30 - 1:30 PM at Ridouts Prattville Chapel, 347 E. Main St., with the graveside service at 2:00 PM at Prattville Memorial Gardens.
