Paul Roy Defoe, born on December 29, 1945, passed away on December 19, 2025, at the age of 79. He was a resident of Prattville, Alabama and was retired from the Army National Guard of 30 years and International Paper of 27 years.
Paul is preceded in death by his son, Paul Defoe Jr.; parents, Charles and Beulah Defoe and his sisters, Pauletta Books, Connie Mock and Nancy Lore.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Sandra Defoe; daughter, Marilyn Manning (Clayburn); sons, Clay Defoe (Sherry), Fred Defoe (Lisha); 6 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and brothers, Mike Defoe (Katie), Sonny Defoe (Barbara) and Bill Defoe.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 from 10:00 AM till 11:00 AM at Ridouts Prattville Chapel, 347 E. Main St., Prattville, Al. 36067 with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM with Cody Manning officiating. Burial will follow the service at OakHill Cemetery.
