JONES, Rebecca S. “Becky”, 67, a resident of Autaugaville, AL, passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2012. She was an active member of Trinity United Methodist Church where she taught the Horizon Sunday School Class, sang in the choir and was active in United Methodist Women. She was an avid bridge player. She was preceded in death by her father Robert H. Shackelford, Sr. She is survived by her husband Carlton “Bud” Jones; son, John R. (Jill) Jones; daughter Eve (Marty) White; mother, Mazelle Shackelford; two sisters, Nancy S. (James) Carter and Johnnie S. (Trice) Nichols; one brother, Robert H. (Anne) Shackelford, Jr.; five grandchildren, Rebecca Jones, Sarah Jones, Richard White, Caroline White and Katie White. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made in her honor to the American Cancer Society www.cancer.org , or to a favorite charity. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at Trinity United Methodist Church with Ministers Matt Mobley and Fred Bailey officiating. Graveside services will follow at 3:30 p.m. in Rocky Hill Cemetery, Autaugaville, AL. Visitation will be held at Ridout’s Prattville Chapel on Monday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
