Mitchell, Robert Gleason passed away on Thursday October 9, 2014. He was preceded in death by his mother; Betty Sheffield Ballard, Uncles; Auther G. Sheffield,Billy Sheffield, Chester Sheffield, and Avery Sheffield, one aunt Nadine Ford. He is survived by his Aunts; Mary Stokes, Teresa Chick, Rheba Kohlhorst, Jackie Sanders, Rose Taulli, Wanda Reed, his half sisters; Paula Ballard and Vicki Groom, his half brothers; P.J., Hackman, and Casper Ballard, his sister; Ruth Sanders and brother James Chick, Niece; Jacquline Ann Sanders Ward, and a Nephew; Michael Leon Sanders, Jr., Great Niece; Jasmine Ward and Two Great Nephews; Christopher Ward, Jr. and Jeffery Ward. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday October 14, 2014 in Montgomery Memorial Cemetery at 3:00 pm. The family has requested casual attire. Active pallbearers will be Thomas Reed, Michael Sanders, Sr. Rick Diskin, Brantley Sanders, Michael Sanders, Jr. and James Chick.
