Sara Simpson Wainwright, departed her earthly life on January 7, 2021. She was born in Autaugaville, Alabama and was a lifelong resident of Independence, Alabama. She was known for being a Christian servant. She was deeply loved. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ballard Wainwright and her parents, Robert and Sally Simpson. She is survived by her two sons, Boyd Wainwright of Prattville and Reed Wainwright of Weatherford, Texas; granddaughter, Kennedy Alafair Wainwright of Ft. Worth, TX.
Services for Sara will be Friday, January 15, 2021 at Ridouts Prattvile Chapel at 1:30 with a visitation from 12:30 -1:30 PM. Burial will follow at Bethesda Baptist Church cemetery in Independence, Alabama. Pallbearers will be Nate McCall, Cary McDaniel, Shelby Searcy, Mike Sutton, Chris Wyatt and Fletcher Wyatt. Bryan Gibson will officiate.
