Shirley Dean Silvey, of Prattville, Alabama and previously of Kentucky, passed away January 5, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Silvey; parents, Calvin and Stella Collins. She is survived by her children, Joseph Silvey (Tammie), Kevin Silvey (Pamela) and Timothy Silvey (Dana); grandchildren, Paul Silvey (Lacey), Dalton Silvey, Bailee Silvey (Will) and Courtney Silvey. She is also 10 great grandchildren.
Shirley was a devout Christian woman. She was truly devoted to her husband, children and grandchildren. She was also known for growing prize winning roses, and collecting dolls and clocks. She was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.
A visitation for Shirley will be held Wednesday, January 11, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Ridout's Prattville Chapel, 347 East Main Street, Prattville, AL 36067 with the funeral service to follow at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow the service at Oakhill Cemetery.
