Therman A Mills

Therman Arnold Mills, 84, of Prattville, Alabama, passed away on March 17, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Truman and Mary Mills and sister, Mary Lee Mills. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Godwin Mills; children, Biron Arnold Mills (Chantel) and Rhonda Mills Martin (Clif); and grandchildren, Keely Elizabeth Mills, Luke Issac Martin, Grant Davis Mills, Jade Isabella Mills, and Sydney Lee Martin.

Therman was a loyal husband and wonderful father. He enjoyed helping people and serving at First Baptist Church in Prattville. He started working at age eleven (11) and went through several “Retirements” and finally stopped working due to health issues in December of 2023 (at least that’s what the W-2 says). He was all smiles around his 5 grandchildren. He was proud to serve his country for 30 years in the Air Force, Air Force Reserve, and Alabama Air National Guard. He was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.

A visitation for Therman will be held Saturday, March 22, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Ridout's Prattville Chapel, 347 E Main St, Prattville, Alabama 36067, followed by a funeral service at 4:00 PM. Burial will be March 27, 2025 at 10:15 at Alabama National Cemetery with full military honors.
