Virginia Edwards

Virginia Wilson Edwards, 89, passed away February 25, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Lee Edwards; parents, Milton and Virginia Wilson. She is survived by her son Murray Edwards (Marie); grandchildren, Nicole York (Rusty), Tina Cook (Don), Nick Edwards (Crystal) and Nathan Edwards (Felicia); great grandchildren, Alison, Cacie, Dylan, Race, Alex, Donovan, Marissa, Ashlynn, Lane, Maddie, and

Carter and great-great grandchild, Kyler.

Mrs. Edwards retired from YMCA as an Executive Assistant, loved dogs, was an avid reader of books, enjoyed watching old time TV shows and letting everyone know about the weather. She enjoyed baking cakes and cookies and sharing them with everyone. She was quiet and soft-spoken but was never hesitate in voicing her opinions. She lived a quiet and peaceful life out in the country.

Services for Mrs. Edwards will be Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Ridouts Prattville Chapel with the visitation from 12:00 – 1:00 PM also at Ridouts Prattville Chapel. Burial will follow at Prattville Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be her grandsons and Calvin Nicholson, Ronnie Johnson, Jeff Taylor.
