Wayne Milton Johnson

JOHNSON, Wayne Milton, age 47, passed away Monday, April 5, 2010. Funeral services will be Thursday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Prattville with Dr. Travis Coleman officiating. Burial will follow at Ivy Creek United Methodist Church. Visitation will be Wednesday night at Ridout’s Prattville Chapel from 6:00-8:00 p.m. He is survived by his wife, Ivy O’Dell Johnson, and children, Logan Milton Johnson, Blake O’Dell Johnson, Grant Whitson Johnson, and Hope Leigh Johnson of Prattville. He is also survived by his parents, Charles Milton and Jeannie Rainwater Johnson, and two brothers, Craig Alvin Johnson, Montgomery, AL, and Paul Whitson Johnson, Jacksonville, FL. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James Alvin Rainwater, Sr. and Mr. and Mrs. Carson Whitson Johnson. Pallbearers will be Marc Johnson, Bert Ousley, Keith Wallace, Jimmy Goodson, Ricky Tucker, and Jessie Wilson. Honorary pallbearers will be Herbie Johnson, the men of the Mark Hindman Sunday School Class, Brooks Lazenby, Woody Till, Wendall Hartzog, William Bradley, Jim O’Brian, David O’Brian, John Thrailkill, Mike Carter, John Cooper, Brent Post, Jimmy Parnell, and Harold Spier. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 138 South Washington Street, Prattville, AL 36067; Ivy Creek United Methodist Church, 560 Autauga County Road 1 South, Selma, AL 36703, or Prattville Christian Academy, 322 Old Farm Lane North, Prattville, AL 36006.
