William Thomas Lackey Sr.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George W. and Minnie Delma Lackey as well as one granddaughter.

Bill was survived by, his loving wife of 26 years, Joyce Lackey, four children and three step children: Betty Ann Lyle(Scott), Tommy Lackey, Donna Adderhold(Barry), Barbara Haynes, Paula Wood(Steve),Wendy Parker(John) and Ken Rawlinson(Tiffany).

Bill was blessed with nineteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Bill loved his family and cherished every moment he got with them. He loved the outdoors and just enjoyed life. William Thomas Lackey, Sr. was loved by many and will be missed by all.

A visitation for Bill will be held Sunday, December 15, 2019 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Ridout's Prattville Chapel. A funeral service will occur Sunday, December 15, 2019 at 12:00 PM. Burial will occur at Oak Hill Cemetery.

The Family would like to give a special thanks to Patsy Tippet, the social worker, Bailey Wilson, the nurse and all the other caring staff of Southern Care New Beacon Hospice of Gadsden, AL.
