William Robert McCollum, 59, of Autaugaville, Alabama, passed away March 18, 2025. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Charles McCollum and his brother, Charles Melvin McCollum. He is survived by wife, Judy McCollum; children, Victoria Thorne (Cory) and Jonathan McCollum (Alicia); grandchildren, Ella Thorne and Liam Thorne. He is also survived by his mother, Pat McCollum and brothers, Mark McCollum and James McCollum.
Billy was an avid outdoorsman, he found joy in fishing and hunting, spending countless hours in the woods and on the water. He also enjoyed coaching Little League baseball, sharing his love for the game with young players. Known for his warm smile and steady presence, Billy will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
A visitation for Billy will be held Friday, March 21, 2025 at 10:00 AM at White Pond Baptist Church, 1155 County Rd 49, Marbury, Alabama, followed by a celebration of life at 10:30 AM.
