Agnes Joround LaVale (nee Stensby) was born on November 7, 1930 in Northern Alberta to Johan M. Stensby (1904-1990) and Anna S. Stensby (1902 – 1998). Agnes passed away peacefully on November 11, 2023. Agnes was known for her glowing green thumb, her love of both crochet and knitting and her passion for volunteering at a local senior’s centre. She was a woman of class who always put her best self forward and treated everyone with kindness. She will be greatly missed by many friends and loved ones. Survived by her brother Jerry, sons Greg and Bart, daughters Shannon (Les) and Erin (Rob), numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, husband Charles, daughter Corol, sister Ellen (Stanley) and brother Melvin (Ruth).
