After a few remarkable and amazing recoveries, Alice relented and passed peacefully into eternal rest at Parkside at the age of 83 years. Sadly missed and fondly remembered by her children Darlene (Marcel), Lorrie (Patches), Dennis (Bonnie) and Jim (Pat), step daughters Elaine (Cliff)and Arlene (Eldon), many grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers Ralph and Mitch, numerous other relatives and good friends. Alice was predeceased by her loving husband of 18 years, Oliver Plante (2006), parents Ernest and Mariam and brother Harold. Alice’s family would like to express a warm and sincere Thank You to the staff at Parkside and Dr. Schokking for their dedicated unwavering care over the past four years. There will be no formal service by Alice’s request. A private family memorial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the SPCA in Alice’s memory would be greatly appreciated.
