The family of Barb Burnap is sad to announce her passing on September 24, 2016 at the age of 76 after a lengthy stay at the Prince George Rotary Hospice House. Born in St. Agatha, Maine on July 15, 1940, she spent her formative years growing up in northern rural Maine and took part in many diverse recreational activities. She was a kind, generous person, always willing to help out where ever there was a need. She will be remembered most for her devotion to her family, many friendships, thoughtfulness and of course her great Baking.
She is survived by her three devoted sons: Alan (Holly) Kavanaugh, James (Dawn) Kavanaugh and Mark (Katie) Kavanaugh. All three of her sons and their wives had developed close loving relationships with Barb. She is also survived by her four adored grandchildren: Colleen, Hannah, Mara and Logan. She had the opportunity to spend time with all four grandchildren and developed loving relationships with all of them. Memere will be greatly missed by all of her grandchildren.
A special thank you is sent out to the BC Cancer Agency, Dr. Shahnawaz, Dr. Nadeem, Dr. Rowe and all the “ANGELS” at the Prince George Rotary Hospice House.
