Calvin Brent Joseph Lestage

May 6, 1960 – June 11, 2025

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Calvin Lestage at the age of 65.

Calvin was a man of immense kindness and generosity — truly the best guy. A big kid at heart, he brought joy and warmth wherever he went. Music flowed through his veins like magic, and he shared that gift freely. His presence made people feel special, seen, and loved.

He will be deeply missed by his daughters Chantelle (Jaromi), Lindsay, and Becca; his beloved mother Alvina; and his seven siblings: Allen (Beth), Smiley (Dar), Cheryl, Blaine (Kelly), Carrie, Kelly (Russell), and Shelly (Brian). Calvin was a proud grandfather to Liam, Brandon, Jesse, Erick, and Jensen as well as countless nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews — all of whom he adored.

He was predeceased by his father, Wilfred Lestage, whose memory Calvin carried with him always.

He also leaves behind Shelley, her daughters Holly (Greg), Krystle and grandchildren Cameron, Sarah, Jordan, Kayden, and Mason.

Calvin’s memory will live on in the hearts of his many friends from PGARA, Polar Lumber, and the Bear Lake community.

His legacy of laughter, love, and music will never be forgotten.

A Celebration of Life will be held on June 28, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the Bear Lake Community Hall. Anyone whose life Calvin touched is welcome to attend and share in remembering this incredible man.
