Cheryl Lynn Olsen

An angel took our mother, grandma, daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt, niece, and friend, home on November 28, 2022. Cheryl Lynn Olsen earned her wings and flew home to be with her husband, Bjarne, her dad Gary and many other family members who have gone before her.

Cheryl is survived by her sons, Gary and BJ, grandchildren Katara and Dixon, mother Margaret (Ernie) Goings, sisters Kathy Neilson and Vaughanne (Garry) Robertson, brother Randy (Katie) Neilson, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.

Cheryl fought a brave battle with cancer for over 2 years. Cheryl wanted to move home to be closer to family and friends. Family and friends made it possible and moved her and BJ home to PG on November 13, 2022.

Cheryl lived a short happy life. She loved to entertain with meals and baking. Cheryl loved Christmas the most, especially when lots of family and friends were around.

Cheryl and Bjarne's burial will take place on Friday, August 4, 2023, at Prince George Cemetery.
