

The world became a little less bright on Sunday, April 20, 2025, with the passing of our father, Clifford (Cliff) Allan Langton, age 82, Born on August 19, 1942, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Cliff lived each day to the fullest.
As a logging truck driver and machine operator, Cliff was the epitome of hard work, dedication, and love.
He worked in road construction until he was 80 years old and never missed a day’s work. His travels to Mexico were epic. He enjoyed his down time looking for gold and searching for the mother lode. He was an example of patience, love, and understanding in his care and devotion to his family. Cliff cared for his wife, Elaine, for 6 years while she battled cancer, and was the pillar of strength that held everyone up. Cliff was the fierce protector of all those he loved and everyone who knew him, would want him at their side, to be protected at all costs, no questions asked.
Predeceased by his loving wife, Elaine, and Parents, Murray and Margaret, and sister Joyce. Cliff is survived by his siblings, Carol, Bernice and Roddy and their families; his five children, Guy (Kathy), Dion (Tynsel), Georgina (Martin), Jennifer (Steven), Lisa (James); and his numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held at the First Memorial Funeral Services Lakewood Chapel on May 9th at 2:00 p.m.
Donations may be made, in his honour, to the Rotary Hospice House in Prince George.
