
Dallas Glen Bryant Born September 1, 1926 Deceased May 31, 2011 Glen passed away peacefully in the University Hospital of Northern BC with his children by his side. He was predeceased by his wife, Lorraine; his parents Charles and Lulu, his brothers Clinton and Russell, and his sister Myrl. Glen is survived and will be missed by his children, Gary (Sylvia), Sandie (Harry), Judy (Gary), Debbie (Sheldon), Darcy (Andrea); his grandchildren, Dan, Nicole, Sarah, Derreck, Kelsey, Mathew, Greg, Samantha & Dylan and thirteen great-grandchildren. Glen Bryant was born in Gull Lake, Sask on Sept. 1, 1926. Glen was raised in Saskatchewan and at the age of 24 he moved from Gull Lake to Oliver, B.C. There he met his loving wife Lorraine. They were married on July 4th, 1951 and shortly after moved to Prince George where they spent the remainder of their years raising their five children. In 1960 Glen started his electrical contracting business, Bryant Electric, which is still operating today after 51 years. During the time Glen lived in Pr. George, he participated in many sports; baseball, curling, bowling, hockey, and his greatest love, golf. Glen devoted many hours of his personal time to the P.G. Golf & Curling Club and was actively involved in its development over the years. A celebration of Glen's life will be held at the PG Golf & Curling Club on Saturday, June 11 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers donations to the Spirit of The North Foundation-Cancer Lodge Prince George or UHNBC would be appreciated. We would like to extend special thanks to the PG Cancer Clinic nurses Maria, Karen & Della and doctors, Dr. Hunter and Dr. Lamb, Also special thanks to ICU nurse Barb & the IMU nurses Becky, Irena, Jen & Coleen. Special thanks also to Dr. Olson.
