Ed was born May 17th, 1939 in Sioux Lookout, Ontario. He worked on many farms after leaving his home at the age of 12. He worked in the bush, logging and running heavy equipment.
His last job was a cement truck driver at Rolling Mix Concrete, where he earned the name “Fast-Eddy”. He retired twice from Rolling Mix Concrete, both times working himself to the top of their employee list. He would have loved to continue working if not for the concrete chutes.
Dad loved the outdoors. He downhill skied, as well as cross-country skied. He loved camping and fishing, and everything that went along with it. Later in life he found his passion of playing guitar. For many years he was a dedicated member of his church where he formed lasting friendships and faithfully served and attended.
Ed will be lovingly remembered by his children: Shannon Geddes, Diane (Pat) Magnusson, Melissa (Travis) Pilgrim, Aaron (Mindy) Hastey; siblings Sharon Nandzik, Bruce (Marilyn) Pringle, Wayne (Arla) Pringle.
