She was known for her quick wit and bold humour.

Betty is survived by her husband Peter; son Michael (Kathy); daughter Daniela; grandchildren Jules, Alex, Fiona, Jackson and Greta; siblings Sylvia (Gary), Fran (Mark), Sue (Don) and Dennis (Sheila).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Variety BC, as this was Betty’s favourite charity.

A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Misselbrook and the nursing staff in the ICU at UHNBC for their compassionate care.

A private family Celebration of Life will be held at a future date.
