It is with great sadness, that we the Rallison family announce the passing of our beloved (mother, Grandmother, Great- Grandmother, Mother-in-Law) Elsie Arevelle Rallison. Elsie passed away peacefully in her residence at the Rainbow Lodge at approximately 12:55 am on Sunday May 25, 2025 at the age of 87. Elsie was born on July 13, 1937, to her parents Pete & Harriet in Edam, Saskatchewan. She was the eldest of siblings: Elsie, Gladys (predeceased), Dorothy, John(predeceased), Art, Wayne, Bob (predeceased), and Elmer (predeceased).
When Elsie was around 18 years of age, she met George Edward Alfred Rallison (predeceased) of Cleeves, Saskatchewan. Elsie and George were married on September 17, 1956, and they had four sons together. In 1974, Elsie and George and their sons moved from their homestead in Cleeves, Saskatchewan to Prince George, B.C. where they settled down and made their forever home. Elsie and her late husband George really loved the city of Prince George and all the wonderful opportunities it had to offer them both and their family. Elsie is survived by her 4 sons Elton (Dorothy), Melvin, Durold, Richard (Penelope) her three Grandchildren Sean (Tanya), Laura (Tom), Travis and her four great grandchildren. Elsie will be dearly missed by our family, her friends and by everyone had the immense pleasure of knowing her.
On behalf of our family, I would like thank Dr. Iftkhar Kahn, the Northern Health Primary Home Care Team, Dr. Carter & the amazing UHNBC Geriatric ward staff, and the amazing staff at the Rainbow Lodge in Prince George, BC for all helping us look after Elsie during her elder years. There will be no memorial service for Elsie at this time.
