(Gitta) Anne Marguita Schroeder

It is with great sadness that the family of Gitta Schroeder announces her passing on Friday, September 20, 2024, at the age of 78 years. After winning a few battles with cancer and living life the way she wanted, Gitta passed away peacefully, surrounded by her immediate family in Prince George, BC.

Gitta led a life full of adventures; hair dressing, running her own salon business, investing in the stock market and real estate, raising her two active sons, creative painting, and spending quality time with friends and family at nearby lakes.

Gitta will be lovingly remembered by her children Jody (Kathy) and Ryan (Danielle); four grandchildren Nicole, Ashley, Katie and Jackson; siblings Heidi Galloway and Alexandra Koch. Predeceased by her husband Gerard Schroeder and brother Ernie Hainer.

A Celebration of Life in memory of Gitta will be held on Sunday October 20 for family members.

In Lieu of flowers, those who so desire, may make memorial donations in memory of Gitta to the Canadian Cancer Society (www.cancer.ca).
