Joanne, I just found out about Glen. I'm so sorry! I have many found memories of our time together. he was a good friend.

Sorry you didn't get your donor man. All the crap you told me about that you had to go through hooked into dialysis. I'm just glad you called that night and we got to yap it out one last time. You were always a good guy to me and I never forgot that. Had lotsa fun that short time you lived in Edmonton cruising around in the pumpkin.. partying with the Cult.. just being young and stupid... say hi to Andrea for me.

Glen my Sabsucker!! I miss sitting beside you in ME English and watching your hockey games and School sports!! I had many laughs with you back them!! Can't forget those squinty eyes and that  grin!! I was so happy when Jo told me you guys were together I was very happy for both of you cause you both were wonderful people!! I will miss you very much!! It's been so long since I've seen Joanne and I am gonna go sometime soon because I regret not going and seeing you both while you were still with us so I'm not going to do that with Jo too!!!! RIP my friend until we meet again!!

I first met Glen way back in 1972 (he was in my grade 3 class.) He lived on the same street as me then in Mackenzie. Glen was always easy-going and had a good sense of humor. He always said what ever was on his mind and made you laugh.

Joanne, thinking of you and the kids so much lately. I'm at a loss for words. Glen was a kind and gentle soul. Love to you all....

Forgive me Joanne, Dan and Charlene for taking so long to write this.  I have never lost someone this close to me before either, and haven't been my usual talkative self.

Glen buddy, I want to thank you for hanging in there long enough for me to come and say goodbye.  Saying goodbye was tough to do but I am glad I was able to.

I want to thank you for the "Fahrvergnugen Lunge"!  On any snowy night stuck behind a transport on the highway I will always think about you and your pumpkin the time I followed you back from Penticton.

I want to thank you for all of the goodie bags you used to hide for me back in our "logging camp" days.  You were the best baker any camp ever had and I was lucky enough to have an "inside connection".

I want to thank you for all of the laughter.  Through the good times as well as the "not so good", we always found a way to laugh.  No matter what life threw at us, we could come out smiling in the end.

I want to thank you for teaching me many things about life that I never learned from my parents.  In a way you were kind of a big brother to me every now and then, even though I never realized it at the time.

Joanne, I want to thank you for taking such good care of him all of these years.  If it wasn't for you, we all would have had to say goodbye long ago.  All of you are in my thoughts every day and I am sure you know I am always here if you need me.

Goodbye my friend, thank you so much for all of the memories!  Rest in Peace.

Glen, you will live on forever in our memories and of course we know you are free now of all the pain and challenges you endured these past few years. So happy for you, so sad for those left behind who mourn your loss, most especially your beautiful bride Joanne. You two have been an inspiration to my own family and you mean more to me than words can say. PEACE!!

Very sorry to hear the news of Glen's passing.  My condolences and sympathy to all.  I will always remember "Stick" as the kind hearted, easy going guy we partied with back in the good ol' days.  Thinking of you.....

i was just a teenager when "Gum" would come and visit my brother Dwayne. i was making supper and came outside to ask my brother the best way to make gravy. Dwayne didnt have a chance to answer. Glen told me the easiest way to make gravy. lol ive used that method to this day. thats my first memory of Glen. my son couldn't pronounce Glen so Austin called him Gum. lol he was a great guy with a fabulous wife and family. Rest In Peace Glen.
