Gloria Margaret Thorpe

Predeceased by her beloved husband Leonard and daughter Lori.

Gloria leaves behind a family who loved her dearly. Ruth (Steve) and Crystal (Marty); her grandchildren Harmony (Dustin), Justin, Sara (Justin), Aron (Chelsey) and Hayden; and her great grandchildren Jordin, Madison, Angelina (Will), Seth, Annika, Ava, Acelynn and Michael.

Gloria passed away peacefully in her sleep, surrounded by those who meant the most to her. She will be remembered not only for her nurturing spirit, but also for her remarkable talent as an artist. After retiring from a dedicated 33 year career as a teacher, she found a new home with the Artist Co Op Workshop & Gallery; where she received the encouragement and inspiration that helped her flourish into the gifted painter so many admired.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the compassionate nurses and care workers at Simon Fraser Lodge for the care and kindness they showed Gloria.

Her love, creativity, and warmth will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
