I fondly remember CB Rabbit Hunts in the winter and getting in trouble for not talking the "lingo".  

I loved snowmobiling and competing in the Powder Puff races. I rarely won, but it sure was fun!

It is human to grieve the loss of dear ones. We love them and cannot help missing them, but a true realization of the immortality and continuity of the individual soul, will rob our grief of hopelessness. We shall (eventually) feel that we have not lost them, they have only gone before. We can remember her through the cold of winter and the warmth of summer, through the freshness of spring and the mists of autumn, and he is at peace.

I'm so sorry for your loss auntie Shannon I hope you and the family are okay, if the kids where not in school I would bring them today, if you ever need an ear I'm here to listen! 💙💜💚

When I was growing up Harvey was always Uncle Harvey as the lines between Honkanen/Botrakoff/Mackie were always so confusing. Thankful that I knew him and hope he is now hunting endlessly and looking out for all his loved ones.

My sincerest condolences Shannon and family. I have many fond memories of Harvey.. you’d find him playing with his kids and grandkids.  Riding bikes or playing in the yard. He was always busy doing stuff outside. He was generous when someone needed a hand and he was able to help them out. His sense of humour was often dry but when you got it, it was hilarious. He was a fighter when it came to his health and his stubbornness definitely would shine through. He’ll be remembered and missed by all who knew him. My heart hurts for you all.. I hope you feel his eternal embrace in the days ahead. Sending loves and hugest of hugs to my long time friend. ❤️❤️❤️
