Harvey James Sims

Harvey was born on May 15, 1934, in Melfort, SK, and spent his life surrounded by those he loved. He was a dedicated and loving husband to his wife, Elizabeth (Betty), and a proud father to his 7 children. Harvey cherished his family above all else, and his devotion to them was unwavering.

In addition to being a family man, Harvey was a pillar of his community. He was known for his adventurous spirit and sense of humour. Harvey’s strong work ethic and commitment to those around him left a lasting impact on all who knew him.

He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of love, strength, and generosity will live on in the hearts of all who were touched by his presence.

A Memorial Service will be held in Harvey's honor at Assman’s Funeral Chapel (1908 Queensway, Prince George, BC) on Friday, January 2, 2026, at 1:00 p.m.

Harvey’s life was a testament to love, compassion, and kindness. His spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
