Heather Alleyne Kress

Heather Alleyne Kress (nee Altizer) February 21, 1964 - February 9, 2012 With great sorrow, we announce that on February 9, 2012, Heather Alleyne Kress (nee Altizer) passed away suddenly along with her brother, Matt; sister-in-law, Leah; nephew, Jonathan; and niece, Emily. A beloved wife, mother, sister and aunt, Heather is survived by her loving husband, Brad; son, Kieran; father, Eugene Sr. (Kathy); mother, Hilda (Fred); brothers, Eugene Jr. (Carol-ann), Lance (Starlet), Tim (Lavaughn), Ed (Liza); nephews, Ryan (Leah), Dameon; nieces, Kara (James), Karla (Kaleb), Erica; and numerous relatives and friends. Heather was a compassionate, self-sacrificing, determined person who was loved by everyone that knew her. She enjoyed soccer, tennis, singing, and spending time with her pet parrots. Hers was the warm smile that greeted visitors and residents of Simon Fraser Lodge for the past 7 years. Her family will forever cherish her tireless devotion as her aging mother's primary caregiver. As one of Jehovah's Witnesses, Heather loved sharing with others the Bible truths that defined her life. A memorial service will be held for Heather on Sunday, February 19th at 7:00pm at the Prince George Civic Centre (808 Civic Plaza). Donations in Heather's memory can be made to the Alzheimer Society of BC.
