

Mable Elizabeth Hannah “Beth Hughson” was born January 27, 1929 in Waskada, Manitoba. She passed away peacefully in the early hours of January 22, 2026 at Prince George Rotary Hospice House, just five days shy of her 97th birthday, with her daughter, Holly Musey and granddaughter, Nicole Musey by her side.
Beth was a beloved mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She will be remembered for her strong Christian faith, kind thoughtful nature, quiet wisdom and unwavering love for her family. She had a special gift for staying connected with friends and offering loving companionship to those around her. Beth was the happiest surrounded by family and friends. She treasured road trips to Edmonton with her son and daughter to visit grandchildren and great grandchildren. In the summer she loved sitting on her deck, watching the birds and admiring the flowers – what she fondly called her “Hawaii”. She was also a devoted Toronto Blue Jays fan.
Beth lived a life rooted in faith, love and devotion to family. Through seasons of joy and seasons of trial she trusted in the Lord and walked with humility and quiet strength. She was a long time Board member at the PG Evangelical Free Church and was deeply involved in her church community, supporting and volunteering with many Christian organizations. She was always there for her children and grandchildren offering steady love, encouragement and faith-filled guidance throughout their lives.
Beth was predeceased by husband Bill Hughson; grandson Taylor Hughson; siblings Gordon Hannah, Barbara Gudmundsson; her parents Holly and Evelyn Hannah.
Left to mourn is her daughter Holly Musey (Terry); son Garth Hughson; grandchildren Crystal Nakonechny (Brent), Erin Kennedy (Brendan), Nicole Musey (Adam Stratychuck), Joshua Hughsoon and her great grandchildren.
